With over 25 years in senior-level technology service provision, Charles Paul Tobola is vice president of the northeast region for OpenText GXS. Paul Tobola oversees the information exchange business unit for commercial enterprise clients, leads the regional sales team and solution consultants, and manages the pipeline portfolio for clients. A Lamar University alumni, Charles Paul Tobola is also a lifetime member of the Texas chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.
Formed in 1907, Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity for men and women that aims to develop principled business leaders by providing a range of opportunities. It targets business professionals across different age and experience levels, from mid-level managers to retirees, and provides leadership skills, professional growth opportunities, best practices, and ethics training programs throughout the member's career.
The college chapters typically hold their own events, though under the guidance of the national chapter. However, all the chapters meet in one place for an event branded the Grand Chapter Congress (GCC). The GCC, held in odd years, offers a giant venue for learning, networking, and socializing for the collegians and alumni. Other highlights include the fraternity tradition of attendees purchasing official congress merchandise and selling chapter merchandise.
